Three things about myself. 1. I love magazines. Especially the ones with slightly thicker, matte pages that just feel silky and yet substantial when you turn each page. 2. I always look through magazines from the back to the front. This little oddity has no roots anywhere that I can think of except maybe that I can, my own sort of rule breaking that goes against the grain. Clearly I’m a rebel at heart. 3. I more often than not am more excited and captivated by the ads than the actual content. Marketing is intriguing. Selling a product, conveying a message, delivering a non-verbal declaration that there is something uber fabulous out there that will make you sexier, happier, healthier, and an all around better version of yourself if you just believe in the product. Wow! Truly, you never knew you were in want of so much until you flip through a few ads and see that with that perfume, you will be lounging on a yacht with super sexy reveling in your perfect abs. All this to say that we had an incredible opportunity to work with a fashion design major (aka Jenna the wonder intern) to shoot a fashion shoot a few weekends past. It is always invigorating to tackle an opportunity that is new and challenging. Most of my favorite photographers have roots in fashion photography and I just love the style and elegance they bring to an image. We had a goal, a vision and a daunting mountain to climb, but with the help of some very beautiful people, a stellar supporting cast behind the scenes and a simply gorgeous location I think we can all hold our heads a little higher. I look forward to undertaking such an endeavor again but for now here are a few fruits of our labor to enjoy. See if you can’t imagine a Polo tag line in the corner of any of these. Someday….

I know it's a TV show I'd watch.
