I was going to be supergirl today and add one more thing to my list of things to do. My list so far was deposit a check at the bank – very ambitious of me. I thought maybe I could handle a blog post as well, so I logged in and found this draft from a post that was going to be up last May. Here is my pre-pregnancy life. Ah, sweet memories!
Here’s the post:
I rolled over this morning at 7:55 to find nothing but crinkled sheets and a dented pillow. Where is David so early on a Sunday? Wait a second. It isn’t Sunday. OMG! I slept through my alarm this morning. I was supposed to be in class at 8. I rocketed out of bed, through the shower and into some comfy jeans. I frantically blew my bangs dry, then checked my phone. It was 8:15. I stopped, and I made a choice – a healthy one I like to think. I couldn’t possible be there for more than 15 minutes of class, so rather than add a high blood pressure day to the pool of stress and worry that will inevitable kill me, I decided to just stay home today. I read a great photography book, made cottage cheese pancakes with Kelly’s awesome recipe, cleaned up my office, and caught up on work. I did all my returns at 5 different stores. I cleaned out the fridge and went grocery shopping. I have fresh milk, lunch meat and juice neatly stacked on the shelves of my fridge. The drawers are full of colorful new berries and salad fixings. It’s nice to regain the confidence in the food in my fridge without needing to check expiration dates. Now that I look at all I accomplished, I’m kind of glad I didn’t go to class today.
Amazing! Well, here is something I accomplished this week – images of di Moda. You can check out their website here. If you are looking for a super swanky new home in an ultra-cool neighborhood with awesome freeway access then you should just go check this place out!
