I’ve been mulling over this blog post for about a month now. Knowing it was coming and anticipating how inadequate I would feel upon the arrival. Turns out I was completely correct. Babies may be born every day, every minute for that matter, but witnessing the birth of someone you already love is extraordinary. The wonder of God’s creation, the miracle that has been in the making for 41 weeks and the devotion of new parents meeting their baby for the first time leaves me completely mystified and humbled. Rylee and David were an incredible team, gaining strength and courage from one another as the next phase of their life adventure was fast becoming a scrunchy, perfect, complicated, wonderful, precious reality. The days, months, years ahead are going to be grand and I am confident that with Rylee and David as parents Nadia cannot help but become supremely fabulous. On second thought, she may have already arrived. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me be a part of your joy.
