Nadia Jane: Bathtime Fun

I’m having a love affair with sleep.  Nadia has resumed her 8 hour night, for which I am eternally grateful.  I like to think that the reason for her long snoozes is her super-nice mom who puts together the best wind down routine for her every night.  Ok, so not every night – there are the nights where she goes right to bed in her spit upon onesie and slightly wet diaper.  Ok, fine.  Her more than slightly wet diaper.  Like I said, I’m in love with sleep.  Anyhoo – the night time routine involves one of her favorite things – bath time.  We dim the lights, have a late night snack, take a warm bath with Johnson & Johnson Bedtime Bath (get it – it smells like heaven), then we sit in front of the space heater for a little baby massage, a clean diaper and some cozy jammies.  Finish it off with a swaddle, a kiss, and a pacifier and we are all set for sleeping!

Kelly - Super cute. I'll keep her if you tire of that super sweet face. We can start having sleep overs with Addison whenever you're ready.May 12, 2010 - 8:04 pm

Kasi Wallace - I have personally witnessed the incredible evening baby spa and I am shamed as a mother. When I, Rylee's mother, tucked my little babies into bed I nursed and diapered the little munchkins and put them in their cribs. I thought this was just fine until I watched Nadia Jane's little night ritual. Dim pink lighting, warm glowing heater, steamy little bathtub and the rub down with lavendar lotion. When you bring a fussy little Nadia into the glowing bathroom she instantly quiets down awaiting the pleasures to be had. This child will never hate bed time. It is awesome in the Sundquist home.May 19, 2010 - 7:37 am
