Quality Park Time & a Birthday Celebration

The style and type of photography Rylee and I endeavor to create is very personal and intimate.  With every wedding, family portrait session, birth, kids at play and event we are invited to take part in the inner workings of someone’s life.  That is pretty significant and we don’t take it lightly.  That said, we decided that it is only fair to share in turn.  Allow a larger glimpse into the life we lead away from our cameras and dress clothes.  Tuesdays will spotlight the Bowie family while Thursdays will be the Sundquists.  Fun, right?  Not exactly the voting results show of American Idol, but spellbinding nonetheless.

This actually has worked out perfectly for me.  Today (drum roll please) is my mom’s birthday.  Last night we celebrated her with a wonderful dinner and time together, the best way to celebrate.  The day began adventuring with our good friends at a brand spankin new park on Camano Island that is absolutely incredible and then off to Grandma’s to shower her with the love of her favorite 2 & 5 year old.  Day’s like this are perfect, and not just because of the cake and ice cream.  Just being together with friends and family, enjoying the company and giving a few extra special squeezes.  Find someone to celebrate today, birthday or not, I know I’ve got mine.

I love all that is happening here.  Addison insists on monkeying up the slide but she has grown to weary to go it alone.  Landon cheers and Grandma gives support.  Priceless.

Happy Birthday Mom.  I am so grateful to have your love and support and I couldn’t ask for a better Grandma for Landon & Addison.  Enjoy today! (school board and all)
