The Red Chair has a long history of love and laughter. So much so that it has its own identity, morphing from common to proper noun. That’s a big leap for a chair. It actually belonged first to my aunt when she was a child, journeyed through all of my cousins, and is now the beloved seat of the next generation. Many a toy, trinket and treasure has been shoved into the notable hole in the back. Many a battle has been waged over who would have the privilege of coveted seat. Needless to say, as we are fast approaching Raely’s first birthday I felt this landmark family treasure had finally found it’s time to shine in for all to see. You can see the love in the leather, I can see it in many a childhood memory.

These glasses are WONDERFUL!! And babies do not come much cuter. I’m just sayin, I have two kids who I think are so stinkin cute and still I think I might vote Raely the cutest. Don’t tell.

You might not recognize right away what’s happening, but this is a Raely’s version of hiding and peek-a-booing. If you can’t see my mouth, you can’t see me.

A little Grandma lovin. The best kind.

Thank Raely for such a fun shoot! We’ll see you in a few weeks for some marvelous mess making 1st birthday cake fun!
