Sundquist Thursday: Father’s Day

From the day she was born, Nadia has stared at David.  She hones in, locks her eyes on him and just stares away.  I can see her love, awe and amazement just pour out of her big blue eyes.  When he comes home from work, she hears his voice and searches around for him, totally distracted from whatever she was doing, be it playing or eating.  David, know that you are dearly loved by your daughter!

We hosted Father’s Day brunch, but my parents brought and made all the Belgian waffles and scrambles.  Yummy!  Here’s our table – I love that peonies are in season right now.  They make me so happy!
