Last day of eighth grade definitely deserves ice cream. It’s been a year of so much new. New school, new friends, new teams, new puppy. New isn’t always easy, but it often molds us into who we are becoming. So proud of the growth and maturity I see in Addison. And even more of the silly, genuine, joyful version that only pretends to mind when I sing all the wrong words to songs in the car. Love you more kiddo.

We added a new Furry face to our family yesterday! Never ever thought I’d have a tiny dog, but she’s pretty stinkin cute and Once potty training is under wraps, we’ll be best friends. Kona is still on the fence, but I’m confident she’ll be won over in the end. Welcome home Leika!

Inspiration can come in so many forms. The textures of these tulips are so intriguing to me. And they will shift and change almost daily as they grow into flowers just waiting to bloom.

I can’t say I love EVERYthing about my job, and

I can’t say I love EVERYthing about my job, and if I’m being honest, there are some days I wish that all the hard work, late nights, and sacrifices that come with being my own boss would disappear!

But if I could pick the top three favorite things I love about photography, I’d pick:
Connecting with the most incredible people and showing them off!, cuddling babies (and then giving them back), and knowing that I help create something that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
